All the fun of the MayFair
What a Perfect Day to Party!
The sun was shining, festival flags lined the drive and flapped gently in the breeze, everyone was met by the gorgeous Prosecco van Vanessa and handed a glass of bubbly on arrival. In short, it was bliss and we can’t wait to do it all again (It might be October! Shhh!!) for now let’s re-live our Sunday-Funday magical MayFair with all these stunning photos from the day by Eve Dunlop and Rob Tarren…
Magic, Music and Mayhem!
Outside The Gillyflower our very own festival wedding came together quite spectacularly. There was wedding inspo at every turn; chill out areas, garden games, a roving magician, musicians (even Elvis made an appearance!), a fun photo booth and entertainment from wedding bard and all round celebrant Hamish Guerrini who even conducted a live ceremony on the day!
Richard’s magic tricks stunned crowds, including Team E.
The party atmosphere in the Gillyflower meadow was fabulous, festival vibes created by The Curious Little Big Band.
Prosciutto crudo, wild rocket, Parmesan and balsamic drizzle was a firm favourite from Pizza Monkey. Pizzas so good that they sold out!
Our own bride, Kat, relived her wedding day with new husband Ben, but this time in a jaw-droppingly gorgeous Savannah Miller gown, and hair and make up by the talented HC brides.
The other members of Team E rocked glitter make up. Glitter is everywhere again this summer, which we’re very pleased about, look out for glitter bars at a wedding near you soon!
The Buffalo Tipi Kata tent would like right at home at any festival inspired wedding.
Every Event Hire kitted out the meadow with giant deckchairs, space hoppers, grass sofas and festoon lighting to create a fun and relaxed space for all to enjoy the live entertainment.
With all the renovations complete, all the new accommodation including the new bridal prep pad was open for everyone to explore!
A Feast of Inspiration
Maria and Lauren from Sorori and Lauren Grey Styling came up with a brief of metallic and marble for The Gillyflower wedding dining space, which are so on trend right now.
They discussed their ideas with the super talented Jennie from Curtis and Co Cakes and she created a cake masterpiece which they they then framed with a stunning meadow inspired floral arch.
Inspired by the moon daisies in the meadow, Maria added a modern twist creating table layouts in a couple of different styles using marble and metallic throughout.
Charlotte from The Old Market Printing Co designed and created beautiful stationary to complete the wedding tables.
Lauren added the styling elements using metallic candlesticks, taper candles and marble table runners (she has been trying to source these for ages!!!) which set it all off beautifully. You can never have too many candles.
Great table designs and ideas from Teapots and Tiaras and Cotswold Vintage Party Hire.
Balloons by Fetti and Bow lined the walkway from The Gillyflower to the house…we are a little bit in love with these x
Romantic blooms aplenty
Amber Persia’s explosion of meadow flowers in the hall was simply breath-taking and the music from the Nero Quartet made for a perfect wedding aisle.
The morning room looked beautiful with its new interiors styled with gorgeous Flowers by Breige; the scent was incredible from the seasonal blooms.
A huge thank you to Eve Dunlop and Rob Tarren for the expert photography.
Thank you to all that came along to party with us, we may just do it all over again in October…!
Lots of love from Team E
xx
