Looking for some one-of-a-kind wedding inspiration? This vibrant LGBT+ celebration was a neon-infused celebration, complete with fun games, stunning florals, and an all-out party vibe!

The lovely Rebekha & Sarah got married in the wonderful month of December with just over 100 of their loved ones celebrating with them. They surely knew how to have fun!

We can't get enough, and we know you'll feel the same. For a dose of quirky and fabulous wedding ideas, keep reading!

Tell Us How You Met!

We started working together in 2014, and Sarah was hired to be Bex's boss. They say you should never mix work and pleasure, but we did.

How Did The Proposal Happen?

Well, this is a story... despite what Sarah might say, she once said she would never propose because she'd done that once before, so Bex knew it was all on her. It was all planned, a road trip in America, a vineyard (because we love wine), and then, Covid happened.
So instead, it was a romantic muddy walk on the 25th Nov, the last gift of Advent year (where Sarah enjoyed a gift on the 25th of every month), and a proposal at Minster Lovell, with an illegal stay in Cheltenham, we had to pretend we were staying away for work!

Why Elmore Court?

It was only meant to be a low-key wedding as it was both our second time, but after looking at several venues we kept struggling to find the right place. Elmore ticked all the boxes and on the open day, we booked it straight away. (To be honest, the moment we drove in Sarah said, ohhh this might be the one).

Where Did Your Inspiration Come From?

We started out with the typical wedding mood board - then found a stylist who asked us to build a mood board of our favourite things, not wedding things, then she styled the wedding perfect for us. Thank you Becky at R&R Wedding #shoutout - she was great!

We Loved Your Gorgeous Gowns! How Did You Choose Them?

Bex wanted comfort and trainers - so knew she wanted something easy going, she found Catherine Deane not long after getting engaged and went back to the original shop to purchase, trousers and a bandeau, with a laced top and trainers - why would you do anything else?
Sarah knew she didn't want full length after trying a couple on, and fell in love with tea dresses from Brighton Bell.

On The Morning Of The Big Day, How Did You Feel?

We were together, because, why we would not spend the night before our wedding with each other? It was calm (until Bex's Dad decided he was too emotional to see her with the registrar before the ceremony). Bex got ready and just hung around waiting for Sarah to come see her for their sneak peek. And well that was emotional.

How Was The Ceremony?

Short and sweet, for us the celebration was the party.
Our bridesman saw us into the room, as a flowerman with music and confetti, followed by our bridesmaids, our daughter and niece. We walked down together with our dads in our arms, so it was a special request to have the aisle wide enough for 4.
Mulled wine, because it was the season, despite it being quite warm outdoors, our own bespoke branded beer cans and sloe gin fizz!

Food Of Choice?

As foodies and working in hospitality, food was very important. We wanted seasonal and sustainable dishes so worked with the team to pull together our menu, goat's cheese and walnut tart to start, native hake and champagne butter sauce and a trio of puds!

What Was Your Reaction To The Gilly?

It's the room that made us decide Elmore was perfect for us, and Bex cried when she saw it on the day. We were blown away by how perfect it was for us and our day.

First Dance?

Fred Again Adore You - the words were perfect, the song was current and the beat dropped which meant the bongo player could enter the room just at the right time.

What Were Your Wedding Highlights?

There are so many memories made, the wedding band (German Jukebox), taking our guests to the gillyflower, the Nyetimber tower, Bongo Bingo - it was none stop fun - and we will do it again!
