What a Curiouser Fair!
The sun shone brightly on Elmore Court earlier this month as we opened our doors for the Curiouser Fair.
It was amazing to see so many of you, almost 600 off you in fact! Possibly the BIGGEST open day that we've had at Elmore Court!
A happy throng of guests queued to enter through the ancient front gates at 12.30pm, and were met by Alice in Wonderland with not one but two Queen's of Hearts!
Our guests were welcomed by Meg and Sam, our amazing accounts team at Elmore, who were handing out drinks vouchers beautifully hand finished by Deabill & Quince.
Upon arrival at Elmore Court, guests followed the music into the Great Hall to find the Nero String Quartet and the CK Gospel Choir, who took in turns to perform. The hall was decorated with the beautiful home-grown flowers by Jenny Fleur.
Next door in the dining room Deabill & Quice Stationery styled the table in an Alice in Wonderland theme, adding little paint by numbers paint sets to each setting. In the middle Wedding Creations arranged the most gorgeous roses, running from white to red, as if 'coloured in' to continue the theme, they were joined by Salt and Scent Event Planning.
Just outside the side door, in the Coach House, The Cotswolds Spa took residence, demonstrating all the luxurious treatments that can be booked during your wedding here at Elmore.
On the East and Cedar Lawns, Wren & May Flowers created a beautiful outdoor wedding scene, with an aisle full of flowers. They were joined by Wed Head, Bean Downes Celebrant and the lively music from Thom Music and Danger Goat.
Also in the house, guests discovered Elmore Wines from Vintopia, the enchanting Darren Campbell Magic and Sophie England Illustrator, who draws illustrations as keepsakes for wedding guests which are amazing.
The Gillyflower was absolutely buzzing with creativity, Sorori Designs, Urban Frame, Gary Nunn Photography, Kyle Forte Videographer, Tom Durn Photography, Vanilla Pod cakes and Cake Daydreams, Jen Feroze live poet, Every Event Hire, Mad Hat Photobooth and Cotswold Confetti.
Outside in the Meadow, we were fed the most delicious food from Soul Fries, Dough Wood Fired Pizza, Monday Night Eating Club and Wholly Gelato, whilst listening to tunes from Albino Tarantino, Apollo Soul and DJ Luke Nukem. Pitch up and Play also entertained the younger guests with their toys and entertainment.
