Hello to all who are newly engaged, those searching for their dream venue or anyone who has just happened to stumble upon Elmore Court... Welcome!

Getting married at The Court is pretty special... and we want to show you why! We'll go through some of the pretty magical rooms you'll find in the house from bedrooms to The Gillyflower, talk you through how your wedding coordinator will help you before and on the day & give you our last-minute dates remaining in 2024!

It's an exciting year and we have a few slots left for viewings in January... we'd LOVE to meet you!

Who Are We?

So... who are we? What is Elmore Court and what do we do? well...

To give you a little bit of history, Anselm Guise, the current owner of Elmore Court, inherited the house back in 2007, the house has been the family seat of the Guise family for nearly 800 years. With Anselm's history in being a DJ & festivals it only felt fitting for him to create a place for people to celebrate love... and have a good old party!

The Court opened for celebrations in 2013 so we've been going for just over 10 years... WOW! Since opening the amazing Coach House was built, 250 acres of the land began its rewilding process, 6 magical treehouses were built and we witnessed so many wonderful weddings.

We pride ourselves in quite a few things, we're very proud of the food we produce, some of it from the land and locally sourced, it's delicious and our menus are constantly changing. Our bedrooms are pretty fab too, each unique as the next and everyone that works for us truly represents how magical The Court really is.

Options For Your Ceremony

We're so glad you're here! It should be known that at Elmore, the house is yours! We're an exclusive hire venue and pride ourselves in delivering the day you deserve... The day is yours so your ceremony location is up to you, we have some wonderful places in and around The Court for you to tie the knot!

The Main Hall

The most desired and popular ceremony location, through the large double doors and onto your right you'll find the magnificent Main Hall which is the heart of the house & a true beauty. The main feature in the hall is the stained glass windows, letting in a gorgeous amount of light and elevating the room & images just that little bit more! The Main Hall can seat 150 guests.

The Best Reception Venue

We don't mean to toot our own horn but The Gillyflower really is a pretty spectacular party venue!

Built sustainably from Estate materials using traditional methods yet designed in a contemporary fashion, as previously mentioned when Anselm decided to transform Elmore Court into a wedding venue, it only felt fitting to build an additional space where people could party... to not disturb neighbours, The Gillyflower was built to be completely soundproof outside and it really does work, meaning you can have one hell of a party!

It's perfectly designed to suit small parties of 60 or large celebrations of 200. There's a specific area for dancing with its own stage and AMAZING sound system by Funktion One. It has some fancy LED lights and a gorgeous chandelier to impersonate a ballroom.

It features its own bar and has large windows throughout letting in a load of light to shine in on your celebrations! The outside area is pretty fab... the perfect place to relax in between dancing and catching up with your loved ones, featuring a large fire pit to keep you and your guests warm and cosy!

With the options of round or long tables, you really can make the Gilly your own and let your creativity run wild!

The Master or Smoking… which would you pick?

There are 16 bedrooms at The Court, each just as beautiful as the next! We'd love to sit here and talk through every single one because we love them SO much... but we'd be here for a while! Check out our journal all about The Bedrooms!

As previously stated, the house is exclusive hire meaning the bedrooms are yours for the night of your wedding (unless you are looking at a Long Thursday as this means the bedrooms are also yours the night before) You can either spread the cost amongst your loved ones or treat them!

The main bedrooms that are often chosen by our couples for the night of their wedding are The Master Suite and the Smoking Room. Both with their unique flair but which one would you choose?

The Master Suite

With an 8ft wide Cesar bed of dreams and original wood panelling, this is the traditional master bedroom which the Guise baronets slept soundly in for centuries.
The adjoining dressing room provides the perfect space for pampering and enjoying getting ready before saying ‘I do’.

The Smoking Room

The Smoking Room was originally as the name suggests, where the Gentlemen used to retire after dinner whilst the Ladies gathered in the Drawing Room. The traditional panelling has been painted in this room to create a light and contemporary alternative to the dark wood of the master suite.

Flooded with light this is the most stunning room for getting ready shots and hair and makeup.
The bathroom is so sizeable that it has two doors which open onto a ginormous freestanding silver, bath and a rather mega walk-in shower!
